Equipment Dealer Purchasing Association, LLC

In 2004, the Equipment Dealer Purchasing Association, LLC “EDPA” was established by a small group of large heavy equipment dealers in an effort to purchase aftermarket parts in large quantities at lower cost. Proving that aggregating the purchasing power of the group reduced cost and strengthened business relationships between the member and supplier the group decided to expand both the membership and the supplier base. The EDPA membership now has thirty four member dealers with three hundred and fifty locations in North America.

The American Rental Association

The American Rental Association (ARA) is the international trade association for owners of equipment rental operations and manufacturers and suppliers of rental equipment. The current membership includes more than 10,000 rental operations and more than 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers. 

ARA members are located in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Canadian provinces and more than 30 countries worldwide. ARA has 35 active state associations and 10 active local associations within the nine U.S. regions. The Canadian Rental Association (CRA) is part of the ARA, and comprises ARA’s Region 10 with seven active provincial associations. We also administer the Global Rental Alliance, a coalition of rental associations located throughout the world.
